Please join the Center on Global Energy Policy for a discussion on careers in the U.S. Intelligence and Contractor communities. Richard Nephew, CGEP Senior Research Scholar, will moderate a conversation featuring:

  • Michael P. Dempsey, Vice President of Strategy and Development for Space, Cyber, and Intelligence, Northrop Grumman and former Acting Director of National Intelligence
  • Martin Frederick, Corporate Director, Civil Space Programs and formerly of NASA HQ and Goddard Space Flight Center
  • Janaki Kates, Corporate Director Intelligence Programs, Northrop Grumman and formerly of the Central Intelligence Agency
  • Barbara S. Sanderson, Corporate Director Intelligence Programs, Northrop Grumman; formerly of the Defense Intelligence Agency and U.S. Air Force; and Alum, Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, Columbia University (BSEE)

Speakers will offer their diverse perspectives on careers in these communities, how intelligence agencies support national policy, and how corporate contractors add to and enhance the operations of governments in these areas. Open discussion will follow introductions and welcome remarks.
