Sustain What? In Praise of Plants – Conservation Champion Peter Raven in an Intergenerational Botanical Jam

Join Columbia Climate School’s Andy Revkin in a special live conversation across three generations of botanical inquiry and activism, centering on "Driven by Nature," the new book by Peter Raven, president emeritus of the Missouri Botanical Garden, a monumental figure in botany and global biodiversity conservation.

Raven will be joined by Hilary Callahan, Department Chair in Biology at Barnard College, and Angelica Patterson, a plant ecologist focused on climate and forests who’s the Master Science Educator at Black Rock Forest and a driving force behind the #BlackInNature movement on social media.
