City College of New York, PSC-CUNY CCNY Environmental Justice Committee, Environmental Justice and Climate Just Cities (EJCJC) Network at the Columbia Climate School, and WEACT present a three-part event on April 11th celebrating student activism, faculty members, frontline communities, and local groups working on topics of sustainability, climate and environmental justice.
The Summit consists of two panel discussions on activism and research around sustainability and environmental justice at the City College Campus and Columbia University. Between the two panels, we will lunch together and then embark on an Environmental Justice Walking Tour from City College to Columbia University. The summit will feature a variety of student and faculty presenters from both Columbia University and City College, who will discuss their goals and aims for transformation, as well as local groups such as WE ACT.
