Funding opportunity co-sponsored by the Irving Institute for Clinical and Translational Research’s Implementation Science Initiative, the Departments of Epidemiology and Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, the CDC Columbia Center for Injury Science and Prevention, and the NIEHS Center for Environmental Health in Northern Manhattan.

The Intervention and Implementation Science Pilot Award Program is Now Accepting Applications.
 

This pilot award program is a key capacity building opportunity to stimulate the development, testing, and implementation of innovative population health, social/behavioral, or medical/clinical interventions.

Pilot studies may focus on: community and population health strategies, clinical and healthcare system strategies, and theory-based psychosocial and behavioral strategies, among others.

Pilot studies in the following domains and areas are encouraged: environmental health, injury and violence prevention, mental health, and racial justice.

We strongly encourage applications from underrepresented groups, and proposals focused on promoting health equity and/or racial justice will be prioritized.

Amount: $20,000
Number of awards: Up to four to six (4-6) awards, depending on funding availability
